Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi

Dr.Abhishek Manu Singhvi was born in February, 1959. He is a renowned Indian politician with a strong presence in the National Congress Party in India. Dr.Singhvi has also represented his community in India?s house of Parliament. He was the former spokesperson of the congress party. As a result of allegations of unlawfulness, he resigned as the congress spokesperson and the chairperson of the standing committee of India?s parliament.

  1. Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi • Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi is an eminent jurist, parliamentarian, visible media personality, well known columnist, author and commentator. He topped India at the school leaving Indian School Certificate exam and did BA Economics Hons, St Stephen?s College, and MA and PhD from Trinity College, • Cambridge, UK. Abhishek Manu Singhvi also taught at St. John?s College, Cambridge and did a summer program, PIL, from Harvard, USA. He has lectured to student/faculty groups and general audiences at Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Boston MIT and George Washington Universities, to NGOs and think tanks (like Heritage Foundation, International Council of World Affairs in Washington, DC, USA) and addressed several international conferences, including those at Paris and Pakistan.

Abhishek Manu Singhvi was formerly Vice Chairman of Congress? Media Department. • The RajyaSabha MP is also the Congress National Spokesperson and is a former Additional Solicitor General of India. He is also a front ranking senior Counsel at the Supreme Court and has appeared in several landmark cases on constitutional law, commercial and civil law. He has also been feted with the Global Leader of Tomorrow Award by the World Economic Forum at Davos.
