TITLE VI NONDISCRIMINATION PROGRAM • AS RECIPIENTS OF FAA FUNDS, AIRPORT SPONSORS MAY NOT DISCRIMINATE ON THE BASIS OF RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX, CREED, AND AGE. • TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964, AS AMENDED, COVERS ALL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE AIRPORT SPONSOR, NOT JUST THOSE PORTIONS OF THE AIRPORT’S PROGRAMS WHICH RECEIVE FEDERAL FUNDS. • SCOPE IS FAR-REACHING. FOR EXAMPLE, ALL SERVICES AND BENEFITS TO THE PUBLIC, AND ALL AIRPORT FACILITIES ARE COVERED; NON DISCRIMINATION REQUIREMENTS EXTEND TO CONTRACTORS, TENANTS, CONCESSIONAIRES, AND OTHER LESSEES • PROVIDING MEANINGFUL ACCESS TO PERSONS WHO ARE LIMITED IN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE ARE TITLE VI PROGRAMS.

AIRPORT DISABILITY COMPLIANCE PROGRAM • AS RECIPIENTS OF FEDERAL FUNDS, AIRPORT SPONSORS MAY NOT DISCRIMINATE ON THE BASIS OF DISABILITY. • AIRPORTS MUST MAKE THEIR FACILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES ACCESSIBLE TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. • AIRPORTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT CONCESSIONAIRES, OTHER TENANTS, SUCH AS FIXED BASED OPERATORS, AND TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS COMPLY WITH THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT.

  7. COMPLIANCE REVIEWS AT AIRPORTS YEAR TO DATE: • 27 DBE/ACDBE REVIEWS. • 12 TITLE VI/NON DISCRIMINATION REVIEWS. • 11 ADA/504 REVIEWS.
