  8. Expenses: Asbury Park capitalizes on their strong sense of community and involvement. Rocky Horror Weekend is based around that same concept and wants to bring people together to marvel at the timeless appeal of this film. We will obviously be setting aside a specific budget for the event, however, we also want to make sure to include the appeal of community involvement. We will be taking advantage of volunteer work and free advertising via Twitter, Facebook, blogs, local magazines and newspapers such as Asbury Park Press, and In! Asbury Park website (http://www.cityofasburypark.com).

  9. Procedures: The Rocky Horror Weekend Event The Rocky Horror Weekend Event is planned for the first weekend in October in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Rocky Horror Picture Show will take place at the ReVision Theater located at 603 Mattison Avenue #4100, with shows starting in the afternoon on Friday and ending with a late night evening show on Sunday. Community members of the area will be able to come together and enjoy this amazing cult classic. It should take seven months to get the event put into place. We will need to secure the location for the date planned. Once the date for the theater is secure the actors can begin rehearsal. We will need to book vendors for the entertainment and food sales that will take place in the parking lot next to the theater. Once this is done then advertising will need to done. We will create a series of three posters for the event that can be displayed in local shops around the area. Flyer with the same designs of the posters can also be left in local shops for people to take as well. Advertising can also be done via the theaters webpage and Facebook page. Tickets Tickets will be available for each individual showing. Once the ticket is turned over to the theater, ticketholders will be issued wristbands that correspond to their showing time. This wristband gives the ticketholder access to the vendor booths and entertainment taking place in the parking lot next to the theater. Ticket holders are welcome to come to the event early and stay after in order to partake in the entertainment and vendor booths. A portion of the profits from ticket sales will go towards the beatification of Asbury Park.

  10. Vendor Booths There will be vendor booths set up in the parking lot next to the theater. There will be Rocky Horror entertainment. Local vendors will have food and drink booths set up for ticket holders to enjoy before and after the show. There will be vendors selling Rocky Horror items and props. Ticket holders will need to show their wristbands in order to gain access to the vendor booths. Vendors will need to pay a fee to set up their booth in the parking lot. The profits that they make will go to covering the booth cost and anything after that will be their profit. Props There is audience participation at many of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, which makes this show unique. Audience members bring props to such as newspaper, flashlights, water pistols, etc. These props are ok for the ticketholders to bring. Props will be checked at the door before entrance into the theater. If they do not meet qualifications of an acceptable prop then the ticket holder may not be allowed to bring it in with them. There will be security at the door to check props and make sure they meet criteria. Security Security will be at the entrance to check bags and props. There will also be security in the entertainments area with the vendor booth. Security will be around to make sure that everything is orderly and no one gets out of hand. Parking There will be available parking in the surrounding parking lots around the theater. The ReVision Theater will be using its parking lot
