What is IAIM? • IAIM is the first international professional association for immunization managers. • IAIM supports immunization managers and other immunization workers to achieve their professional goals by: • Providing opportunities for peer-to-peer exchange and training for immunization managers to help build technical and leadership skills • Providing a forum to share best practices • Supporting international and regional networks of immunization managers Inaugural IAIM Webinar

Who Should Join IAIM? • Immunization managers • Includes both national and sub-national managers • Other health professionals working in immunization programs (nurses, cold chain technicians, laboratory technicians, others) • Other professionals who have an interest in advancing immunization efforts around the world Inaugural IAIM Webinar

Types of Membership • Immunization Manager Membership ($100 USD/yr) • Open to current and former immunization managers (both national and sub-national) • Associate Membership ($50 USD/yr) • Open to other health professionals working in immunization programs • Open to other professionals interested in immunization Inaugural IAIM Webinar

Organization and Governance • IAIM is governed by a set of bylaws, to be ratified at the first IAIM Conference in 2015. • AGoverning Council, with 13 members representing every region of the world, manages the affairs of the Association. • IAIM’s daily operations are run by the IAIM Secretariat, based at the Sabin Vaccine Institute in Washington, D.C. • The majority of Governing Council members are current or former immunization managers. • IAIM was founded with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
