  3. How it works You simply supply the addresses of your locations to Amcat and we do the rest. After your basic data is entered in to the system it automatically monitors current weather conditions and displays a warning on screen as soon as a threat is detected. This information is monitored in real-time as the storms track is updated. If needed Amcat is available to make the call to your prearranged contact to update you and your team of the events and to respond to any needs you have.

Threat Net In action • This is a screen shot of the threat net system in action. • The Points displayed are towns for the purpose of this demonstration but will be replaced by your actual locations when they are entered. • Notice the info Box to the left that shows both the storm size and wind speed but also the precise time that it will intercept your location on its current course.

Our Mobile Response Vehicle • This is Our Mobile response vehicle that will be deployed during major events. • It is also equipped with a Mobile terminal that allows the operators to receive the Threat Net information in real time and respond within minutes in the wake of a severe weather event. • This vehicles system is so advanced that it can be seen in the upcoming season of the Discovery Channel show “Storm Chasers”
