Objectives • Strategies to identify late life depression • Therapeutic options for late life depression • Diagnostic approaches to the cognitive disorders • Behavioral management of distressing behaviors in patients with cognitive disorders • Prevention, identification, management and prognosis of delirium • Assessment and documentation of capacity to make medical decisions • Causes and prevention of falls in older adults • Home safety and ambulatory assistive devices to prevent falls in patients with gait and balance disorders • Strategies fostering productive collaboration among members of an interprofessional health care team
