  1. The Chloroplast and Centriole By: Jack O’Connor Mike Determan, And Matt Starkey

  2. Chloroplast Illustrations Microscope Image Diagram

  3. What Contains Chloroplast? Only plant cells contain the organelle of chloroplast

  4. Location of Chloroplast Chloroplasts are located outside the nucleas and are encased in a membrane

  5. Chloroplasts Functions Chloroplasts have a component called chlorophyll which is responsible for the production of food. This also gives the plant its green color.

  6. Chloroplast Role in Factory If the chloroplast were in a factory, it would act as a solar panel (capturing sunlight) providing energy for the factory

  7. Centriole Illustrations Microscope Image Diagram

  8. What Contains a Centriole? All types of eukaryotic cells contain centrioles which means we have them

  9. Location of Centriole Centrioles are found in the cytoplasm, a clear, gel-like substance

  10. Centriole Functions They are involved in cell division and help in the formation of mitotic spindle

  11. Centriole Role in a Factory The Centriole would take the place of a conveyor belt in a factory
