  1. PLANNING A DESTINATION WEDDING IN A BUDGET

  2. With the burst of demands for party venues for celebrations of all kinds, a lot of new places have come up. Some venues are more expensive than others depending on their location, their history and ambience, number of and quality of services offered and popularity. Wedding Halls in Kolkatawith Prices that are much steeper than what you would pay for others. As a common rule you should not shell out more than 60% of the total wedding budget on the venue but every couple something unique and personal. Planning a destination wedding on a budget is not easy but it is possible. Offbeat Locations: Popular destination wedding locations charge a bomb for their services. Choose offbeat locations like Gokarna, Kashid, Corbett, Nainital, Vizag etc. instead of the regular places like Jaipur, Goa, and Jodhpur. These offbeat places offer great hospitality and equally beautiful ambience. Choose smaller cities they have more charm and culture.

  3. Research: Look at resorts within or near your city, this way you will save on flight tickets. For example, if your stay in Kolkata compares the prices banquet halls and Wedding Lawns in Kolkata and that of resorts and banquet halls on the outskirts of the city.

  4. Timing: Choose to have the wedding during offseason. Avoid big holidays and festivals and stay at mid-range hotels that are happy to take you in during offseason. No one likes their resorts empty. Keep your dates flexible, whichever month they can give you the best bargain for, take it! And book your stay and travel way in advance. A trick to having a wedding venue of your dreams is in good research and substitution. If something is out of your budget, substitute it with something similar you can afford. Think local- hire a local caterer, DJ, Decorations company etc. they are super flexible and will go out of their way to please you and turn out to be way cheaper than the fancy ones.
