  5. Way back in the year 1994 Simplex Castings Ltd collaborated with SATO MANUFACURING Co Ltd. Japan and developed SG Iron Sinter Plant Pallets under the expert guidance of Dr Y Matsubara. The technology has been well absorbed and updated as per the modern needs of the Sintering Technology.

SIMPLEX SINTER PALLET CARS Simplex has commissioned two Sinter Plants on Turnkey basis, in the past one at Bhilai Steel Plant 320 m2 with Tyazpromexoprt Russia, and other at Rourkela Steel Plant 220 m2 with Mitsui/Hitachi Zosen and understands integrity of Process quality and productivity of sinter plants which are continuously growing, and can only be met with designs suitable for the rugged iron and steel making environment. Our technologies for Pallet Cars meet all local and market specific requirements.

SINTER PALLET CARS BY SIMPLEX • Pallet Cars • This new generation of sinter machine pallet cars provides the following • benefits: • Decreased off gas volume, as the false air sucked along the side walls of conventional sinter machines is significantly reduced Increased yield • Improved productivity • Lower specific energy consumption • Improved sinter quality

SINTER PALLET CARS BY SIMPLEX • Each pallet comprises of: • A cast pallet body, as a single unit or in three pieces • Exchangeable front plates • Four roller sets, each set containing one running roller and one pressure roller, both arranged on the same shaft • Grate bars made from high alloyed cast steel • Side walls of cast material • Insulating sections to protect the pallet body

SIMPLEX SINTER PALLET CARS Grate Bar Side Wall frame sides 10 mm The material of construction of sinter plant pallets is either SG Iron or cast steel conforming to Grade 4 of IS 3038:1992 `Martensitic’ stainless steel and alloy steel castings for pressure containing parts suitable for high temperature service .
