  4. My Educational Background • Born and raised in Morris, Illinois. • Elementary/junior high • Attended: • Franklin Elementary School for Kindergarten • Garfield Elementary School for first grade • Saratoga Elementary School from second to eight grade

  5. My Educational Background • High School • Attended: • Morris Community High School graduated in 2006 • Activities: • Color guard 2002-2006 • German Club 2005 • M-Club 2002-2005

  6. My educational Background • College • Attended: • Joliet Junior College 2005-2010 • University of St. Francis 2010-Present • BFE at St. Paul’s the Apostle School with Kindergarteners • Fall 2010 • IFE at Richland Elementary School with 3rd Graders • Spring 2011

  7. My life • My favorite subject in school growing up was science. • Things I enjoy are reading, vacations, working out, attending sports events, especially baseball, being with my friends and family, movies, music, my pets, and cooking. • Currently work in a nursing home.

  8. Classroom Purpose My goal is to create an environment where my students have the opportunity to learn and grow as individuals. I intend to inspire their minds at a young age by using techniques such as observation, play, and participation all tailored to the individual’s needs. My curriculum will give the students a concrete foundation of knowledge while incorporating life lessons, morals, and universal values.

  9. Classroom Plans As a teacher I want to make sure I provide a variety of learning stations for the children to explore at. Teachers should experiment with seating, activities, communication techniques, and any other aspects that will directly effect their students learning.

  10. Classroom Expectations It is important that my students know the rules of the classroom. Students should have a sense of security around adult figures and their peers. I will guide my students in the right direction down the road of success, it is simply up to them to use their knowledge to grow and prosper.
