Aim The organization shall act as a Trust, and shall be a non-profit social welfare organization having following goals: Participation and investment in social welfare activities both at national and international levels with special interest in South Asia. Knowledge production and dissemination, and raising awareness in social issues. Enhancement of peace, freedom, equality and human rights. This organization shall not take part in or pursue any political or religious activities.

  3. Planned activities regarding social welfare The principal area of activities of this organization shall be to participate in social advancement and humanitarian activities. The main emphasis shall be given to enhancing institutional and training capacity in such sectors as health care, social empowerment and awareness. The FSIB may, upon request, support and assist any social advancement project taken by any other organisation. Raise funds to help South Asian nations in periods of distress and need (flood, famine, etc.).
