  3. Chapter 1 : Introduction

  4. Background • To create something new in formula student with different parts in combination of formula 1 and also formula varsity. • This formula student use 3-cyclinder engine, different with formula 1 use 6-cyclinder engine and formula varsity use 2-cyclinder engine.

  5. Problem Statement • The system uses by combined in both formula varsity and formula 1 to build a formula student.

  6. Objective • To create something new in a world of automotive • To understand better about this formula student and compared with ordinary car.

  7. Project Scope • We have use 3-cyclinder engine to build this formula student and show the different with formula1 and formula varsity.

  8. Significance Of Studies • This formula student is a development of combination formula varsity and formula 1. • It show the differences in formula varsity with uses 3-cyclinder engine rather 2-cyclinder engine and hope this is another step forward in new formula varsity contest.

  9. Limitation • The engine can only goes to 60 mPh – 90 mPh. • The cockpit can only support the weight of 60kg.

  20. Conclusion • This project is a one step forward for formula student and also hope in formula varsity for new contest in different engine capasity. • With this 3-cyclinder engine for formula student it is something new and differences for formula 1 and formula varsity.

  21. Recommendation • Can be modified to improve the perfomanceof the engine. • The introduction for new clases contest in formula varsity for 3-cyclinder engine. • Hope our project can be continous by junior student
