National Electricity Consumers' Movement (NECoM) • Strengthening the Consumer Consultative Committee by representing consumers in a organized manner • Represent consumers on "public consultations" of the PUCSL • Educate consumers on their rights and obligations • Educate consumers for efficient use of energy • Conduct studies on electricity tariff • Lobby for better feed in tariff • Encourage consumers to generate power from renewable energy sources • Conduct studies on incorporating social concerns in generation planning • Provide technical knowhow to the members of the movement on energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
