Company description • Sunglass Hut is recognized as a leader in specialty sun retailing with almost 2,000 Sunglass Hut locations around the world. • locations all around the world such as United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Australia. • We have come to dominate the premium segment of the sunglass market • provides prescription sunglasses • Revo Eco collection that is economically friendly and provides all the essential features plus added sunglass technology. • We have a branch called Watch Station that specializes and offers a large selection of watches and other timepieces

History of company • Our company was established in 1971 by Stanford Ziff in Miami, Florida • One of the first stores to specialize primarily in sunglasses • The very first Sunglass Hut was a kiosk in DadelandMall • Kiosks became stores full of sunglass products available for the customer’s benefit. • Our business became international and is still growing and improving to this current day.

Company Objectives • First objective of the campaign • Provide our customers with the best sun protection products • Allow customers to choose from a wide variety of styles and trends • Advanced lens technology • Continue to take in any feedback to better understand the needs and wants of our customers. • To supply customers with a survey at the front desk which they can fill in during checkout • Second objective of the campaign • To increase sales by 5% during the course of the month of July • Promote business through different methods of advertising • Third objective of the campaign • To increase customer count within our store by 10% over the course of the month of July. • By appealing to a wider market (ages 10-50)

Target Market • primary target market of Sunglass Hut targets generally adolescents and young adults ranging between the ages 21 up to 35 years of age • It’s between these ages, that appearance tends to be a greater concern making them an ideal target. • Sunglasses are used by drivers as a method of precaution in order to protect their eyes from the sun and its effects also making it ideal for this age group. • secondary market is the younger, more impressionable siblings. • Around the ages of (10-20) the younger siblings tend to idolize their older siblings and aspire to be like them. • That age group is most affected by social media such as Facebook and instant messaging.
