  1. Neuroscience Attack of the Brain!

  2. Daily Question • Why are neurons able to transmit messages so quickly? • What happens when we don’t have that substance?

  3. Brain Activities • Locate your brain part! • You will be given a note card with a brain region. • You will stick your card on the wall with what you think is it’s location • Go!

  4. Brain Activities • Brain Creation! • We get to use Playdoh again! • As a Team of 4 create the cerebral cortex, then create the limbic system and finally the brain stem • Draw out each part before moving to create the next • Try not to mix the playdoh.

  5. Brain Activities • Brain activation regions. • You will receive a scenario • Write out what each of those regions are doing according to that scenario

  6. Brain Activities • Split brain video! • What happens when your hemisphere’s can’t talk to one another • Are you right or left brained? • Take out two pens or pencils and close your eyes • Draw a house with your left hand and a car with your right. • What came out better?

  7. Quiz • Take out your notes packet and take the quiz! • Hand in once done. • Work silently on your project until everyone is done.
