Consider piano, voice, guitar, theater, or one of our other lessons or classes for each of your children. • There is a 30 day cancellation policy. This gives our teachers the opportunity to fill the opening and plan for the change in their schedule and income. • It is Cold & Flu season! If your child is ill, PLEASE reschedule their lesson. Keeping them at home will allow them to recover and help prevent their illness from spreading to our teachers and the other Rock & Bach students. News & Notes Page 2 Piano Maintenance With over 30 years of experience, we’d like to recommend Frank W. Reeves for your piano maintenance & repair. On the web : www.reevespiano.com or Call 469-834-2034. • Practice Tips for Your Young Musician • Schedule a time period 3-5 times for 20-30 minutes each • week. • Set-up a practice chart. Use positive motivation! • Keep consistency each week. • Always practice the day after lesson has been given. This • reinforces the information taught. • Do not expect your student to practice on their own, especially as the lesson is • progressively harder. Adhere to the schedule you have set-up for your student. • Listen to your child when practicing and praise them when it sounds good!
