  4. 6 Commands Across West Mercia • TERRITORIAL POLICING COMMAND: 5 territorial policing units (TPUs) which will deliver local policing, response policing and local CID • PROTECTIVE SERVICES COMMAND: Major Crime, Specialist Crime, Force Operations and Forensic Services. The command will also assume responsibility for Intelligence and Public Protection • OPERATIONS SUPPORT COMMAND: Safety and Justice, Operations Support, Central Data Unit, custody, public service desks and front counters. Other functions such as crime screening, prosecution quality teams and identification officers will also be managed by this area NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED

  5. 6 Commands Across West Mercia • HUMAN RESOURCES COMMAND: Human Resources, Professional Standards and Learning and Development. The command will co-ordinate the delivery of local HR in all other command areas including duties management • STRATEGY & LEGAL SERVICE COMMAND: Delivery of legal services, risk management, communications, strategy and performance. Will include managing the communication & performance planning and review roles currently based on TPUs • CORPORATE SERVICES COMMAND: Co-ordination of financial, administrative, and secretarial resources. It will also be responsible for facilities management, estates services, fleet services, procurement, information management, driver handy persons and property officers NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED
