  3. Seat Belt Use 2/3 of people killed in car accidents were not wearing seatbelts 10.2% of students had rarely or never worn a seatbelt when riding in a car driven by someone else Random seatbelt checks conducted by police officers with assistance from students Enforcing the laws

  4. Impaired Driving • Time does not fit the crime • Too many warnings • Insignificant punishment for • repeat offenders
