  3. Student Numbers • Recruitment targets for this year are: • FE 16-18 yr olds 3286 • 19+ 2165 • HE Learners 1911 FTEs • 16-18 Apprentices 145 • 19+ Apprentices 264 • Train to Gain 870

Four main campuses: • Fleetwood (Nautical Campus) • Bispham (FE Campus) • University Centre (central Blackpool) • Ansdell (Hair and Beauty) • 1 Community learning centre • Seasiders (Blackpool Football Stadium) • We also offer qualifications and leisure learning at over 50 local venues across the Fylde coast

The Context • Areas of high deprivation in central Blackpool and Fleetwood characterised by seasonal employment, low wages, high benefit dependency. • By contrast, areas of affluence in Poulton and Lytham St Annes. • Educational achievement at 16 (5 GCSEs A*-C) in Blackpool below national benchmarks.
