Swiss Cricket Grounds:

  • Public sports fields or school grounds

  • Preferably large (two football fields)

  • Wicket is artificial (coconut or rubber matting – sometimes on all-weather strip)

  • Cossonay (near Lausanne) is the only purpose built cricket ground in Switzerland

  • Founded 9th February 1978

  • 7 strong Executive registered home is Bern

  • Internationally recognised as the official body representing Cricket in Switzerland

  • Fully associated to the European Cricket Council (E.C.C.), swissFOCUS and ACU&S

  • Meet regulary (5xExecutive, 4xCouncil)

  • Organises Domestic League and other competitions

  • Selects and organizes international squad

  • Organizes coaching & training throughout Switzerland
