  2. The Key to Understanding The idea of the last lecture is a hypothetical question, “if you knew You were going to die, and you had one last lecture, what would you say to your students?” For Randy, it wasn’t hypothetical.  He was fighting pancreatic cancer.

  4. This talk is not about death, though.  It’s about life and how to live.Specifically, it’s about achieving childhood dreams and about how you can try to achieve them.

  5. Randy Pausch talks about his dreams, enabling the dreams of others, and what lets you get to achieve your dreams.

  6. Goal : Create a “Life List.” People sometimes refer to this as a bucket list. You are approaching Graduation, It is a Perfect Time to Think of what YOU want to accomplish in your adult life.

  7. Step 1: Create a list of things you- hope to accomplish, - places you hope to visit, - people you hope to meet, - and things you hope to do.* Your list should be realistic. These are the MOST IMPORTANT things in your life. *This is not an assignment it is Your life.

  8. Step 2: Lets Share • A “Lecture” is not meant to be delivered when sitting down. • Our final project for this Unit, “The Last Lecture” you will be presenting your speech. • SO… • 1. Stand at your Seat or up at the Board • 2. Share 3 or more items off Your List. • 3. Select a slip and read a piece that Randy shared in his lecture.
