  6. Neighborhood Inventory and Problem Properties Audit • Documentation of structural and environmental conditions in residential neighborhoods, apartment complexes, and commercial areas • Analysis of ownership patterns • Housing market trends • Research on foreclosures and tax delinquencies

  7. Neighborhood Inventory • Projects in College Park/Soulsville, Uptown, University Park/Peabody-Vance, Frayser, New Chicago, Binghamton, University District, and Hickory Hill • Data collection methodology, database, and mapping protocol adaptable for city-wide use • Supported by City of Memphis

  8. Asset Mapping • Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Model • Identifies neighborhood strengths as focal point for revitalization • Uses geo-coding (GIS) mapping technology to present assets in relation to one another and city-wide amenities • May be combined with re-imaging technology to demonstrate visual impact of alternative redevelopment choices • May be packaged for web-based and other visual marketing presentations • Supported by Fannie Mae Foundation for Soulsville

  9. Community Profiles • Analytical reports for problem solving and planning in designated neighborhoods • Includes Neighborhood Inventory, Neighborhood Indicators, and Asset Mapping • May support Comprehensive Community Initiatives
