My CF Menu Home: messages about your account, projects and CharityFocus News:read the latest CharityFocus updates and featured good news from around the world Profile: update your contact info, availability to volunteer, and subcriptions to newsletters and online services Contacts: easy way to email team members, your volunteer coordinator, and other CharityFocus help teams Calendar: keep track of project deadlines, events you’ve signed up for or ones that are coming up, and create reminders for yourself about things to do Projects: access all of your activities surrounding the project(s) you have signed up for including step-by-step guides, message boards, etc.

4. Signing Up to Volunteer! Get Started: Read all about the types of volunteer opportunities we have and what would be the best fit for you based on your skills and availability Volunteer Opportunities: Check out the current opportunities that are available and sign up for one the interests you. Notice that there are both project-based opportunities (US and Int’l) and event-based opportunities (Events) that you can participate in. Just click on Sign-up Now at the bottom of the volunteer opportunity to join! Resources & Support: You will find many online resources and support tools to help you in your volunteering

Navigating around My CF • Any time you are logged into My CF, you can find your way back to your personalized portal by clicking on the My CF tab on the top right corner of your screen • The benefit of logging in is that you can toggle between all sections of the site, which allows you to take advantage of inspiring and interesting reading located in other sections of the site while accessing your personal portal • If you run into any problems, feel free to email tech@charityfocus.org for more help!

Profile: How to manage your information • Keep your contact information updated to allow CharityFocus to find opportunities that fit your skills, interests and location • Update your availability to volunteer so others know if you’re around • Manage your newsletter and service subscriptions • Contact your volunteer coordinator

Contacts: Easy way to keep in touch CF Contacts: A list of all of your CharityFocus contacts with an easy way to email them directly from the site My Projects Contacts: A list of all your project team members including the nonprofit contact with an easy way to email the entire team or each person individually All by Name: Lists all of your contacts combined in alphabetical order by name with an easy way to email them directly from the site

8. Calendar: My Calendar & CF Events Calendar My Calendar: • Your personal CF calendar that only you can view • Add deadlines and create reminders for yourself to stay organized CF Events Calendar: • Lists all upcoming CF volunteer events • Click on the event name for more info or to sign-up

9. Projects: Online Project Management Tool Project Profile: • Find everything you need to know about your project in one place online • Manage various aspects of your project including: • Profile and Next Steps • Team Members • Project Calendar • Message Boards • Project Workspace

10. Teams: CharityFocus Coordinators Overview: If you become a CharityFocus coordinator, you will see an additional menu item called “Teams” in your My CF on the left-hand side, which allows you to manage your involvement on the coordinator team Types of Teams: Management, operations, projects administration, volunteer coordinators, technical, writers, graphics, chapters, etc.
