  1. Late Work • Accepted before the end of the quarter. • Work turned in late earns at most a 70% unless discussed with teacher or attended tutoring • Turn in late work to the bottom basket underneath your period. • *Keep in mind! • Late work is not my priority when it comes to grading • Getting behind at the beginning of the semester means more work for you later!!

  2. Back packs and classroom cleanliness • Back packs must be placed behind the checkered line. • Laptops stay at your desk. • Remove all material you’ll need for class before putting your back pack away. • Be respectful of class room materials and supplies • Students who fail to follow the above, will be asked to stay after class and may be required to clean

  3. PENCILS • BRING A PENCIL TO CLASS EVERYDAY • Students who fail to bring a pencil, must provide collateral.

  4. Tardies • You must fill out tardy slip correctly • If you are late during 5th on a non-block day, you do not get your passing period. • If you are late to 6th period, you owe me that time after school. • Each tardy after that time will be added. • If a tardy slip is filled out incorrectly, you owe 15 minutes after class

  5. Cell phones/head phones • Must be kept away at all times unless otherwise directed. • You are allowed to listen to music during a test, and only during a test • Cell phones/headphones out at an inappropriate time will be confiscated. • If the class goes a week without cell phones or headphones being confiscated, the class will not have home work on Friday

  6. M.V.P • Mathematically Valuable Person • Awarded on a weekly basis to students who make improvements in participation, homework, and behavior. • One students per class. • Awarded 100 learning earning points and a homework pass! • (*not the only way to earn these) • A student may earn MVP more than once if they are deserving.
