  4. The IEP • Required by law • You, parents, school representatives meet to make a plan of what you will learn and do during next year. • Focus of the IEP in first year of high school changes to what you need to do now to get ready for life after high school.

  5. Transition Focus • To make plans for life after high school you need to answer 3 questions: • Where will I live? • Where will I work? • Where will I learn? • Answers become post-secondary goals
