Pre-Assessment • Representatives from the Ron Clark Academy and Sierra Nevada College will work together with school administrators and staff to develop pre-assessment benchmarks and surveys relative to: • Climate • Rigor • Student engagement • Student achievement • Teacher effectiveness * The breadth and scope of the pre-assessment will depend on the package selected by the school administrator.

  7. Staff Development Training Continued Live training 6-week asynchronous (move at your own pace) online training Graduate credits with Sierra Nevada College ($75 fee per credit) Future grants awarded to attend live onsite training at RCA

Implementation Analysis 90% of participants strongly agree that they learned new strategies that they would like to implement in their classroom. 95%of participants indicated that they will be able to use the strategies learned at RCA to improve as an educator. 1,144 educators who have been to RCA’s educator-training program over the past five years (2007-2012) participated in this survey.

  11. Student Engagement After returning to the classroom, teachers attending the Ron Clark Academy Education Workshops demonstrated an 11% increase in student achievement.
