  4. Codes, conventions characteristics of the genre of the film • The film is going to be of a horror genre • Will be a modern take of witchcraft themes from the 1800’s • This was the main time that this theme was around • The difference is that it is placed in a modern setting

Target Audience • My film is mainly aimed at people 15 – 30 year olds • Both genders. • Horror Genre in general • Very few people that go to see horror film by themselves • Horror films main appeal to the male gender • Age is between 15 – 45 • The main BBFC Film Classification for the horror genre is 15’s and 18’s • AHS Coven Audience statistics • 3.87 million adults in the 18-49 age range • 2.34 million adults in the 18-34 age range • A mixture of both males and females audiences.

Practical Challenges • Making sure that the shots are in focus • When it comes to editing make sure that the sequence runs smoothly. • Adding the text over the top of the images. • Make sure the lighting is right for the shots • Make sure the narration to clear • Coming up with the narration scripted.

  9. Target Date • To have the finished title sequence by the 12th December • To start film in early November. • To have the filming done by mid November • To have the editing done by the end of November

  10. Satisfaction • I would like to get an A for this piece but I will be happy with a grade B • To have a title sequence that looks professional
