Overview of processes for development of the plan. • RBM Partners met and developed BCC Strategic Framework for LLIN distribution using the Universal Coverage Model. • Process was inclusive and participatory with in-puts from relevant stakeholders. • Built on existing materials and successful approaches. • Follow-up meeting to develop LLIN Campaign Messages and Materials Matrix ((1st & 2nd drafts. Finalized and adopted) -Combined State Strategic Approaches, Channels /Tools and Key Message Concepts. • The adopted strategy further evolved into development of prototype materials and approaches which were pretested and shared for approval before production AMP BCC WORKSHOP.   4. How The Plan Was/Is Being Used • The generic template and materials were developed at the National level. Kano was used as pilot • Each state is presented with the template and BCC materials for adaptation • Each state prioritizes, adapts, develops BCC interventions and materials • BCC materials are pre-tested, finalized and produced • Process is to encourage ownership at state/LGA levels as well as build capacity of state and LGA personnel • Lessons learned are fed back to the National and are being used to improve the process in subsequent campaigns AMP BCC WORKSHOP.
