  1. MicroScan V5 S.C.A.D.A and data-logging software and associated hardware from

  2. MicroScan - Connects to MicroScan Software connects to the Intech Micro 2100 series Remote Station hardware modules to form a complete supervisory control and data acquisition system. Analogue Inputs & Outputs Digital Inputs & Outputs PLCs Controllers

  3. MicroScan - Capability MicroScan combines all the basic datalogging functions into one package and performs the function of regularly gathering information, checking alarm states - displaying the data, plus historical analysis and (MMI) operator interface. Analogue Inputs & Outputs Digital Inputs & Outputs PLCs Controllers RS232 to RS422/485 converter PC-Networks

  4. MicroScan is made up of the following main Modules: • Recorder Module: Real Time Trends Up to: 1320 I/O Data Displays Historical Analysis • Mimic Module: Operator Interface Up to: 6400 I/O MMI • Controller Module • Interface Module: Field Remote Stations and PLC’s • Network Module: Data Sharing • DDE: Link in to other Windows Applications

  5. The Recorder Page # 1 The recorder forms the ‘heart’ of the MicroScan system. The recorder displays up to 100 pages. Page # 20 Page # 53 Page # 84 Page # 95

  6. The Recorder Page 11 Each page can display up to 10 different input signals. Analogue Inputs/ Outputs Digital Inputs/ Outputs PLCs Controllers

  7. The Recorder The recorder functions operates continuously including automatic logs & reports, plus alarm handling and store file generation. The recorder scans and loads data onto the hard disk at preset rates ensuring safe storage for later retrieval and analysis.

  8. Recorder Powerful trending and Historical retrieval

  9. Digital Inputs (On/Off Indication)

  10. Analogue Inputs

  11. Hyperlink page selection for instant page access

  12. Password protection for changes to settings

  13. Popup Colour Key Index..

  14. ..or expand Navigation Tree

  15. Use The Mouse tracker to pinpoint times, dates and values of interest

  16. Track through time and really see what happened

  17. Select which lines to view

  18. Popup Tool Bar for quick scale changes, printing, measuring time & values, showing/hiding inputs

  19. Check on vital Alarm states

  20. Alarms: • Alarms can perform the following states: • Activate the PC beeper, • Send an alarm text message to cell phone(s). • Activate an alarm relay to: • Activate an auto-dialler, • Activate Alarm bells.

  21. MA5: Text messages allow you to keep in touch with your process

  22. MA5 Examples:

  23. It doesn’t have to be all graphsAlpha-Numeric indicationSwitch between Graphs and Data instantly

  24. Choose from the List

  25. Easy to follow menus

  26. Easily view the Last Pages looked at

  27. On-Line History This is a powerful and convenient history viewing window. Any data stored by the Recorder can be: • retrieved and viewed in a trend format, • exported through the Windows clipboard, or • converted to a format suitable for spreadsheets or databases, without interrupting the Recorder!

  28. Data Movement Buttons just like a CD-Player. Move the graph window through history.

  29. Adjust the viewing window time scale from 5 Minute to 31 days

  30. Easy Search Function

  31. Select which lines you want to look at, what scale, colour...

  32. print it or ...

  33. Export it to another application

  34. On Line calibration with ISO 9000 Tracking

  35. Events are logged automatically. Notes for operator comments. Calibration Log provides ISO 9000 Tracking

  36. Operating Log provides Usage Tracking

  37. Station Log gives easy viewing of station status

  38. Setup/Configuration Fast - Simple - Painless ! With our graphical representation the Remote Station network and PLC’s are easily set-up and maintained. All the parameters and controls are shown leaving no gaps or hidden mistakes to be found (or worse NOT found).

  39. Full control over all program aspects in one easy to use area

  40. The Mimic MMI Man Machine Interface “So - everything is visual, can I see something other than graphs and data ?” YES! You can use all the data collected by MicroScan and show it in a diagrammatical form (eg. Show how full the tanks are and what pumps are running).

  41. Analogue Level Indicators...

  42. On/Off Indicators (text, flashing colours, popups)...

  43. Real-time values Indicated

  44. Meaningful representation with easily recognisable symbols

  45. Add buttons to change setpoints, alarms, swap pages, start/stop motors...

  46. Up to 50 Mimic pages are available via Hyperlinks...
