  2. The market today • Data is free of charge through our online databank • More data will be free of charge in the future • It creates greater knowledge and dependency of data (like drugs!) • And greater demand for tailor-made solutions

  3. The customers • 80 % of all income are coming from 5 % of our customer • Focus on our major customer (both public and private) • Major customers can sometimes be small in size • It’s easier to increase sale to old customers than catch some new customers

  4. What are the customers needs? • Tailor-made solutions • Yearly updating of data – a special standard for separate customers • The quality of products are important – not the price • A lot of customers don’t know the possibilities in using our data – or worst of all their own needs

  5. How to get in contact with new customers? • Start to analyse existing customers • Your marketing should be very goal and segment-oriented • WEB is an effective means in your marketing • Demo-data on the WEB-site • Networking

  6. Cooperation with resale operators • Make use of their customers and knowledge to the market • Create synergi between our data and their consultants support • Make a clear contract with your resale operators • Clear and a simple price-setting

  7. The future market • Statistical information will increasingly be basis for decision for both the private and public sector • We shall learn them to use data and the possibilities of combination • Tailor-made solutions (data and geography) • Cooperate with resaler

What can we do better? • We shall build up a more customer-friendly organisation • We shall be more visible in the market - use WEB more • We shall do our marketing more goal-and segment oriented • We shall understand our customers needs better – networking • Develop new product – primarily flexible solutions
