How does it work? • This app provides automatic speech-to-text capability • It is not 100% accurate, and it may not recognize everything that you say right away • However, it has the capability to “learn” your voice as you correct its dictation in order to improve accuracy • If dragon has alternate guesses to what you just said, it will suggest an autocorrect which you can pick at the end

  4. Reviews and Criticism • “Siri is better”, many reviewers claim that the Siri technology with the rise of the iPhone4S is more accurate • Punctuation marks. Many people feel that you should not have to say the punctuation marks, but it should pick up on them automatically. • Privacy concerns- transcription does not happen within the app itself. The app sends your voice to a server operated by Nuance. The app also sends a list of your iPhone contacts to Nuance.
