  6. IMPACTS on TESTING • Year 1 – 1,435 total tests • 550 rapid tests – 38% • 885 serum tests – 62% • Year 2 – 2,176 total tests - 52% increase • 1,350 rapid tests – 62% • 826 serum tests – 38%

  11. Clinic Comments • Planned Parenthood Sites • Attracted younger clients; more gay men • Testing numbers increased • Ability to provide sliding scale fee • Integration = normalizing HIV testing • Increase in training and networking opportunities • Moving into rapid testing

  13. Combo Sites (HIV/FP) • Increased testing numbers • Normalization, attitudinal changes • All said that this funding was essential to providing this service on a sliding fee scale or free.
