Registration • Preregistration: April 15-25 • Contact Star River Adventures at 304-555-0110 to register • Teams of four or five people and guide provided by Star River Adventures • Registration fee for two-day event: $250 per team • Total prize money awarded: $2,500 • Entry fee includes: • Equipment • Meals • One-night accommodations, two or three people per room

Description of Event • May 2 • 7:00-8:00 a.m. Continental breakfast at Summerville Lake, launch site of event • 8:30-9:30 a.m. Pick up equipment, meet assigned guide, and make plans for the event • 10:00 Gauley River Rapids Challenge begins • 12:00-1:00 p.m. Completion of Segment 1; time record • 1:30 p.m. Barbecue lunch

Description of Event • May 2 continued • 3:00 p.m. Begin Segment 2 of Challenge • 5:00-6:00 p.m. Completion of Segment 2; time recorded • 7:00 p.m. Dinner at lodge; daily prizes awarded • May 3 • 7:00-8:00 a.m. Continental breakfast at lodge • 8:30 a.m. Begin Segment 3 of Challenge • 10:30-11:30 a.m. Completion of Segment 3; time recorded

5. Description of Event • May 3 continued • 12:00 p.m. Box lunch • 1:30 p.m. Begin Segment 4 (last segment) of Challenge • 3:30-4:30 p.m. Completion of Segment 4 • 5:00 p.m. Barbecue and awards ceremony • 6:30 p.m. End of Challenge, ground transportation back to lunch site
