  2. What is an EAP? • EAP is an employer sponsored program designed to provide support, intervention and resources for employees and family members. • “A happy and healthy workforce is a key element to an organization’s success”.

  3. Why have an EAP? • Employees can and do have times where personal problems can impact job performance. • Your employer recognizes this and has added this benefit to offer support and guidance on a confidential basis. • Your company’s package is free and again, CONFIDENTIAL.

  4. How Can EAP HELP?There are many ways EAP can help, here are a few: • Emotional concerns • Depression • Relationship issues • Financial concerns • Stress • Family and/or parenting concerns • Childcare issues • Grief and loss • Substance abuse concerns

  5. How do EAP Services Work? • Contact an EAP staff two ways: • Call us at (847)458-4674/(866)397-5877 • Use our website at www.advantageeap.org • Once contact has been made, a representative will listen to your concerns and determine the best course of action.

  6. Confidentiality • A key ingredient to the success of EAP services is confidentiality. • Your employer will receive NO identifying information of its employees. • Quarterly reports are sent with the number of participants, nothing that identifies them.
