  1. The Image Gallery Website Editing From Gingerweb

  2. Editing the “Ignite” Image Gallery • First login to the backend of your website: • www.yourdomain.co.uk/administrator

  3. From the Menu go to: Components – Ignite Gallery

  4. Categories tab • Here you can create a new Category (folder for your new pictures) • Click “New Category” top right • Give it a title and select the “Parent” category by clicking/highlighting it – it MUST not be “TOP”. • If it is not related to a current one(Class 1 or Sports etc) then click “Monkleigh School Image Gallery”to highlight it and create a new gallery

  5. Menu Image • If you have created a new Gallery it will need a menu image • Just make sure it is over 200px wide to keep image sizes consistent.

  6. To add Menu image Select an image using the BROWSE button then SAVE There is no need to change anything else on this page

  7. Now lets add some pictures • After “Save” click “Images” to see the “Manage images” section.

  8. Select your new category Click the drop down and choose the category you want to upload pictures to. Then you are presented with the image uploader Either drag files to this box or select “Add files” and then click “Start Upload”

  9. Add a description if you want • Once the images are uploaded you are done. • You can add a description which will show up below the picture if you want: Click edit to add a description

  10. Check the website • Now check that your web gallery is all working as you want it to !
