  2. Second Reading Process • October 25 - Ben Franklin turned in their response to the Charter School Office • October 26 to November 3 - Staff review of the Ben Franklin response • November 4 - Westridge Glenn Community Meeting • November 8 - Request submitted to lease property

Conditionsto BFA Contract • By February 18, 2011, the Applicant shall have a minimum of 500 full-time equivalent students (Student FTEs) assigned to the various grade levels proposed in the charter school application to be served the first year, as validated by the District’s open enrollment process • The BFA Board shall further develop Pupil Performance Standards to include performance standards that align to assessments on or before March 1, 2011

  6. Conditionsto BFA Contract • The Applicant shall submit to the Board, on or before March 1, 2011, either a construction contract or a lease agreement for an appropriate charter school facility available for use on or before July 1, 2011. The construction agreement must reference contingency plans for construction delays which impact occupancy. The contract or lease agreement must be available for BFA’s execution. • The BFA Board shall present a detailed budget for fiscal year 2011-2012, as well as present budget forecasts for fiscal years 2012 – 2016 to be approved by the District’s Chief Financial Officer on or before March 1, 2011.

  7. Conditionsto BFA Contract • The BFA Board shall hire a school leader/principal on or before April 1, 2011 • The BFA Board shall create policies concerning student welfare, safety, and health, and employment conditions as detailed in the Executive Summary.
