Great progress was made by Ato Yohannes Gebregeorgis, Founder and Executive Director of Ethiopia Reads, in setting up the Segenat Children and Youth Library in Mekelle, Tigray Region, Ethiopia, which will be dedicated on August 22, 2010. Of great assistance were these capable women and students, for all of whom this will be their first library position.

Operation Teen Book Drop, 15 April 2010 • 10,000 new books to teens on Native reservations and Tribal Lands across the USA • Coordinated by Readergirlz, the Young Adult Library Services Association, GuysLitWire, and a new partner, If I Can Read, I Can Do Anything, a national reading club for Native children.
