  2. Winter in Finland. Finnish people like to ski, snowboard, make snowmen and snow-angels. We throw snowballs to eachother, we call it lumisota= snow-war. It is prohibited in schools. Finnish flag is white and blue.

  3. Christmas Sports in Finland Cross country skiing is fun. It is very good for stamina. Dowhill ski it is very hard!!!. Sledding is easy…. Ice-hockey it is dangerous and team play….

  4. Christmas Main Dish On the leftthere is Christmasham(pork). Wedon’teatturkey;ham is the main dish. In the middletherearetypical oven- dishes. On the bottomthere is Potato-Casserole, in the middleSwedish-Turnipcasserole. The lastdish is Carrot-Casserole. ThesedishesarefoundfromeveryChristmastablein Finland. On the right top-corner there isonion in marinade. Rice-porridge is very typical Christmas breakfast and the cook hides an almond in the porridge. Whoever finds the almond can make a wish. We eat the porridge with cinnamon, sugar, butter and milk.

  5. Christmas Starters On the left there is salted salmon, in the middle smoked salmon and on the right delicious fish-dish. We love fish in Finland!

  6. Christmas deserts • On the left there is gingerbread-house. • In the middle cranberry-desert. • On the right a desert called SEKAMETELISOPPA made of dried plums, apricot, raisins etc.
