  2. OWL • Using images helps students remember concepts. This is a standard template with text on the left and the image on the right. But with a little creativity…

  3. OWL This is the same image as the previous slide. The image is made more visible by placing the slide’s title and text within the image itself, creating a more dynamic look.

  4. Tips for creating slides: • 1) Use higher resolution images (> 100 kb) to allow it to stretch and maintain clarity. When using Google images, select “medium” size on the left-side options. • Send image to back (see next slide) • Insert text box; stretch text box and make partly transparent (see following slide) • Insert another text box for actual text; use at least 28 font for readability

  5. After stretching image, right click anywhere on image; “send to back”

  6. After inserting text box, right click text box, then format shape
