  1. Nanu Once long ago in the land of Egypt, there was a girl named Nanu who was trapped up in a tall pyramid by a mummy. Each day he would come and say, “Nanu, Nanu. Let down your hair.” She had no choice, so she did.

  2. The mummy inprisonedNanu because she was a trespasser when she was exploring the desert.

  3. He had camels go out and help search for her because she dashed away when she caught sight of him.

  4. He even commanded little mummies out to search for her!

  5. She tried to hide but it was no use.

  6. Some men on camels passed by where she was hiding. She saw them and ran.

  7. She ran down an ally of old buildings.

  8. That’s how she got trapped. He caught her and put her in the peered.

  9. She is trying to get out, but will she ever escape?
