  1. Who is your favorite sports team? Why?Almost no sports team can function with disunity in the locker room. Have you ever been part of a group or team that was NOT unified? Describe your experience.

  2. Have you ever been part of a team that accomplished something together, which could not have been accomplished individually? Explain.

  3. Read John 17|20-261.What phrases in this passage describes Jesus’ relationship with the Father? (There is at least one in each verse starting in vs 21) 2. What phrases describe Jesus’ desired relationship with his followers? (There is at least one in each verse starting in vs 21)

  4. 3. What influence does Jesus expect unity to have on the unbelieving world (17:21, 23)? Why do you think Christian unity is such a compelling factor in reaching unbelievers? How can we utilize the Christian unity that we are experiencing to share the gospel?
