  5. Findings • Encephalomalacia in R MCA distribution with decreased FDG uptake. • Subtle atrophy of L cerebellar hemisphere with decreased FDG uptake. • … no evidence of local or distant disease from SCC.

  6. Teaching points • Crossed CerebellarDiaschisis: • Atrophy/metabolic decrease in CONTRALATERAL cerebellum after MCA CVA. • Due to disruption of cortico-ponto-cerebellar tracts.
