  2. 4 Reasons Why Churches Don’t Discipline: • Because we don’t take sin as seriously as God does. • Because we have wrong ideas about the goal of discipline. • Because we fear there might be adverse consequences. • Because we don’t want to obey a tough command. “…if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” (Ja. 5:19-20)

  3. Have you obeyed the Lord’s commands? • Have you Heard the Word? • Have you Believed in Jesus? • Have you Confessed Faith in Christ? • Have you Repented of Your Sins? • Have you been Baptized in Water? • Have you been Faithful to the Lord? “Now is the accepted time” (II Cor. 6:2)
