  1. Trip to England Josef Chrpa 2007 – student from grade seven

  2. On holidays I flew for two weeks with my father and my girlfriend to England, exactly to the seaside town Penzance. My mother worked there in local hospital. We stayed by two older married couple in a small apartment in their house. They were really nice, but two days later they went on their own holidays to Australia. We had to feed their cats - Babe and Boots. I think they were the most daintly animals which I have ever seen. First day we could see the town. We went shopping to a large shopping street. In the afternoon we went on the cliffs for a walk.

  3. St. Ives On the second day we went by bus to St.Ives. The weather was beautiful and hot but the cold wind blew from the ocean. Beaches were full of people abreast. They were dressed in neoprens and teenagers were surfing in the waves. We thought we could also bathe but the water was too cold.

  4. Lend‘s End The next day we were on the southest hook - Land`s End. It was a great experience because the weather was muddy and the wind blew so much. There are very popular farms for turists in England and on the Lands End there was, of course, one as well.

  5. SealSancuary After our arrival at the seal center we had to pay a 15-pound-entrance fee. This was a high price, of course! "All right", I said, "high price - high show". When we got into to the center, we had to walk about two kilometers to reach the pools with the sea lions. It was incredibly boring to watch the sea lions just swimming in the pools and doing nothing more. And I must tell you, we were lucky because BBC television just filmed their document about the sea lions. My girlfriend saw an advertisement leaflet from the Seal Sanctuary and as she is a big animal lover, she wanted to go there. We expected a big animal show as it was on the leaflet. But the reality was cruel. Don`t trust the adverisment leaflets!!! When we had finished our trip around the pools, we were disappointed, but now we have new experience:

  6. Minac Theatre The last day we went, with my parents, to the Minac Theatre! The theatre is located on the cliffs and cut into the rock. The play was bad but our experience was great!

  7. I really enjoyed our trip to England and I hope to get back with my girlfriend again.
