  2. Objectives Staff will be able to grasp a general understanding of a Chromebook and its features . Staff will be able to create and implement engaging lesson utilizing a Chromebook in academic subjects. Staff will be able to share and gather ideas in professional learning communities.

Science Lesson Ideas • GoogleDocs can be utilized by lab groups to be able to complete and share data gathered during experiments. • PDESAS website can be used to find standards aligned materials and worksheets to use during lessons. • In order to get students interested in subject matter songs and videos of concepts can be found of websites such as; • YouTube • BrainPop/ BrainPop Jr.

  12. Social Studies Lesson Ideas Online scavenger hunts can be used to have students learn more about a topic being covered in class. Time for Kids website has materials and videos to teach students about current events at an age appropriate level. Google maps can be incorporated in a lesson to teach the students a practical application of reading maps and following written directions.
