  2. What is our Mission? MissionStatement The MPRA is a professional organization dedicated to communicate the pride, heritage and history of the MP Corps and to promote the Corps’ future for members, family and friends of the Regiment.

  3. What is our Vision? Vision Statement Unite the various Military Police Organizations under one flag to promote the image, heritage and traditions of the Military Police Corps Regiment.

  4. Who are we? • Nearly 9,000 Members Worldwide. • 29 Local Chapters. • 14 Volunteer Members comprise National Board of Directors. • 4 Paid Full Time Employees.

  5. Where are we located? • National Board of Directors and paid staff: Military Police Museum Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri 65473 • 29 Local Chapters world wide.

What have we done lately? • Raised over $500K for Museum upgrades and Regimental Grove improvement in the last 5 years. • Awarded over 100 College Scholarships to MPRA members and family members in last 5 years. • Increased local chapters from 18 to 29 since in last 5 years. • Partnered with Armed Forces Retirement Home to sponsor annual 4th of July celebration. • Created new interactive Website 2009.

  8. What have we done lately?(Continued) • Lead sponsor for NLEEA - National Law Enforcement Explorers Academy - 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009 (semi – annual event since 2003). • Added MPRA to Twitter and Facebook.

  9. What have we done lately?(Continued) • MPRA Day proclaimed in two cities (Las Vegas area). • Completed the first four phases of the Regimental Walkway Project • Established MPRA Benevolent Fund, to date provided grants totaling over $40K.

  10. How do we get it done? • Memberships 9,000, and climbing through new members and renewals. • Revenue generating activities: • Technical Exhibits. • Golf Tournament. • Private Donations. • Retail Store. • Archery Tournament.

  12. Regimental Walkway Vision (Continued) • Create a lasting tribute to the men and women of the Military Police Corps Regiment past, present and future. • Offer a place for reflection, remembrance and ceremony. • Complete all upgrades and improvements by 75th MP Anniversary 2016.

Walkway Status • Commissioned design concept • Established fund raising programs: • Brick purchases • Tree purchases • Bench purchases • Established additional opportunities for support • Funded: • Crossed Pistols Statue – “Gateway to the Regiment” • Kiosk – interactive guide to the Walkway • Of the Troops, and For the Troops Statue • On track for scheduled completion

  15. Benevolent Fund Vision • Create an opportunity to assist those in need. • Generate new found purpose for MPRA Members. • Streamlined process for honoring requests.

  16. Benevolent Fund Status • Planted seed funds. • Membership application changed to reflect Benevolent Funding. • On-going project with less than 72 hour turn-around time from notification to cash in hand.

  17. Scholarship and OutreachVision • Assist MP family members in meeting their educational goals. • Promote the MP heritage and traditions through NLEEA Sponsorship and Learning for Life.

  18. Scholarship and OutreachStatus • Archery tournament revenue was $7K. • Operational budget contributions dedicated to fund future success of the program. • Private donations continue to help us achieve greater success. • Will reapply to be added to CFC contributions annually.
