Background of PX-Map2 • PX-Map is one of the Norwegian contributions to the PC-Axis Family • replacement of PX-Map 1.07 and PX-iMap (VB and ASP) • joint source code • different GUIs for local version and Web version • efficient maintenance and development • PX-Map2 is developed in .Net, C# and java script Dynamic Graphics for Presenting Statistical Indicators. Some highlights of PX-Map2 • Gives you an overview of your data instantly • Maps are made and changed on the fly • Choropleth maps and symbol maps • 2-color-scale around a user-defined threshold value • Language.xml – add texts in your own language • Default values for language, classification type and others could be set in a configuration file • End user adjusting of colors, classification type and others are stored in cookies • Scrolling values gives an experience of ”animation” due to the dynamic SVG format • FREE of CHARGE Dynamic Graphics for Presenting Statistical Indicators.
