  6. COLLAPSE • Tumble, fall down • From the story: • So he huffed and he puffed, but the house did not collapse. • Another example: • She collapsed on the playground.

  7. Activity for Collapse • Falling down a hill • Walking down a hill • The bottle of water tipping over and falling on the floor • The bottle of water resting upright on the table • The house of cards ended in a heap when my brother shook the table.

  13. Activity for Scalding • When the water running for your bath is too hot • You walk outside and shiver because you are cold • The hot chocolate burns your tongue • The glass of sweet tea is loaded with ice
