  3. Well, Hey! I’m Elizabeth. I have a collection of letters that people send me.

  4. They explain my twisted, obnoxious, weird life. Starting with Celia… They aren’t exactly nice letters either… great.. because my life doesn’t suck enough!

  5. Celia likes to get in ALL kinds of trouble. She runs away all the time. We usually get kinda nervous, but she always comes back.. Well… maybe not always..

  6. This time, she’s been gone for about a month and a half.. I’m worried. Her mom who usually doesn’t care, has also become a little bit antsy. Where is Celia? Is she okay? What if she’s hurt?

  7. AND, I noticed this pretty cute guy in the back of the bus. We both like to run competitively so we started talking! How boys could even be in my mind at a time like this.. I don’t know! “Maybe we could run together!” I thought.

  8. We waited and waited and WAITED from a something from Celia.. And there was nothing. Not a letter.. A note… an email.. NOTHING! At least I had Christina!

  9. Christina is this REALLY nice girl who I write to. She goes to another school and our teachers know each other. They decided that their students should write back and forth. I loved the idea, even though I don’t really like writing. In a way it’s Making new friends.

  10. While Celia’s been gone, Christina and I have been getting closer. Well that’s until I get a postcard from Celia! Yes!! She’s okay!I got excited for awhile..But… there isn’t a return address… Great. Dear Elizabeth, Guess what? I’m at a cirus! Things are great! XOXO, Celia Not telling! Love you!

  11. Turns out, that cute guy’s name is Saxon, and he’s smart too! He figured out what circus Celia’s at and it’s all the way across Australia! Saxon wants to go with me, his aunt offered to drive us. He likes me so much that he would help me save my best friend!

  12. Wait.. he is doing this for me right..? Yeah! Of course he is! He couldn’t possibly love Celia… I mean she’s gorgeous and adventurous.. But we RUN together… and she’s just funny and amazing… but we RUN together… Of course he loves me.

  13. It doesn’t help that my mom is almost never home and we only communicate by post-it notes on the refrigerator… Hello Honey, Go to The Shop for dinner. Won’t be home tonight. Love you.

  14. I constantly have to feed myself. It kind of upsets me but I like the responsibility.

  15. Even though we’ve had our difficulties, I still have a great relationship with my mom. Did I explain my dad yet??

  16. My mom and Dad are divorced. My dad lives all the way across Australia. We talk on the phone, but I don’t really know much about his life over there.

  17. But… this time is different. He comes to visit me and something about him seems fishy. What is he hiding?? Would my own dad keep a secret from me? What isn’t he telling me?

  18. Am I ever going to see Celia again?

  19. Are me and Saxon ever going to be together?

  20. Want to know more….?

  21. Then read Feeling Sorry For Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty!
