The Amazing feats of Michael Dell • Michael Dell applied to take a high school equivalency exam at age eight. • In 1992 he became the youngest CEO to have his company ranked in the top 500 in Fortunemagazine • Also in 1992 he founded MSD Capitol L.P. to manage his and his family’s investments • In 1999 he wrote the book Direct from Dell: Strategies That Revolutionized an Industry • Also in 1999 he and his wife Susan Dell founded the Michael And Susan Dell foundation which now has 530million dollars committed to children causes • In 1984 November 4th he founded dell

What Does Dell Produce • Of course we all know what dell produces they produce various computers: PC’s, servers, data storage devices, network switches, more software, computer peripherals, HDTV’s, cameras, printers, and other such electronics • In case any of you are wondering what a computer peripheral is it is basically a device attached to a computer which expands a computer’s capabilities • Even though Dell produces so many products there is one more popular than ever and has topped sales: Computers!

How is Dell doing • Dell Is doing very well in my opinion in a 2006 publication Dell was in the top 40 for the S&P 500 • Also in 2006 Fortune Magazine rated it 25th largest company in it’s Fortune 500 list so that is relatively well • It’s stock is currently $17.13 with a yearly high of $17.26 so it’s about to top that • So according to this info I would say that Dell is doing quite well
